About LFE...

LFE GmbH & Co.KG was founded in 1979 by the renowned developer Dr. Günter Schunck. Dr. Schunck was known, among many other things, for his groundbreaking work on microflow sensors for process NDIR photometer systems. The BINOS^® system from Emerson Process as well as the Ultramat^® system from Siemens resulted from this work.

Specialized and unique solutions in the field of process analytical instrumentation played a large role in LFE's early years. The resulting know-how lead over the course of time to products which guarantee an unusually high level of response stability and operational reliability.

As a small family owned and operated company in it's second generation we continue to take great pride in our highly acknowledged products and services. Our long-standing European and worldwide customer base consists of well-known industrial plants as well as research facilities.

We are located in Maintal, Germany just to the east of Frankfurt am Main.
