LFE invests in research and development for innovative and reliable new products. Since research and development is resource-intensive for a company, combined with a financial risk, we are pleased that we are commissioned by the BSFZ (certification body for research grants) to be funded by the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research). This funding pot is used to support companies that conduct innovative and risky research and development in-house.
Light4CleanWater
A novel system to break down hazardous substances in waste water streams
Light4CleanWater was a European funded research, technological development and demonstration project in which LFE is a consortium member along with other European partners including the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnolgy IGB.
