Description
Description
LFE's analysis cells were originally developed for measuring traces of CO2 in water vapor at 160°C in the presence of corrosive gases. These analysis cells are in principle compatible with other NDIR/UV/VIS photometer working with cells using measuring and reference side.
The analysis cell utilizes a maintenance-free high temperature connection technology. A spherical connector system with a PTFE seal ensures that all requirements regarding temperature and corrosion resistance as well as long-term gas tightness are met.
The special-purpose analysis cells, which are also implemented in LFE's on-line TOC-analyzers, have the following properties:
- Made from precision formed, semicircular glass tubes with bonded sapphire windows. This provides extremely high resistance to corrosion.
- For ease of handling, the sample and reference cells are mounted in a stainless steel sleeve which provides excellent protection against damage to the glass components.
- The analysis cell is easy to clean by rinsing with a suitable liquid (e.g. water or even diluted hydrochloric acid).
